Users can customize their profiles by clicking on their profile photo and accessing the Profile Settings dialog.
In this dialog, they can view and edit the following information:
Profile Picture
By default, a photo placeholder is displayed. Users can upload their own picture from their computer by choosing “Upload Profile Picture” or clicking the placeholder in the Profile Settings dialog.
Password
Users utilizing authentication via a SAML Identity Provider (IdP) or connecting with the SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) can change their passwords from the Password section in the Profile Settings dialog. However, users using a SAML IdP must ensure that the SAML administrator has provided the URL for the password change page to SAP for this functionality to work.
User Preferences
Various preferences can be updated in the Profile Settings dialogue under the “User Preferences” section:
Language
You can choose your preferred language for viewing SAP Analytics Cloud.
Data Access Language
The default language for displaying stories created from live data connections. This setting impacts how stories are presented when based on live data connections.
Date, Time, Number, & Scale Formatting
Set your preferred formats for dates, times, numbers, and scales to align with your regional preferences.
Currency Position
Select where to display the currency symbol (or ISO code) and scale formatting.
Clean-Up Notifications
Choose to delete notifications after a specific date to manage your notification history.
Default Application
If you have an Analytics Hub license, you can set the landing page that appears when accessing the SAP Analytics Cloud URL.
Email Notifications
You can enable this feature to receive email notifications about system activities, such as password changes.
Video Tutorial
Log into your account to earn points and badges for watching tutorials or completing mini-missions.
