SAC Overview and Navigation
Within this module, you will be introduced to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for the first time. You will learn what SAC is capable of, and you will be introduced to some key terms to ensure your organization is speaking the same language when it comes to SAC.
You will also learn about computer setup and browser best practices when working with SAC, as well as how to log in for the first time. Additionally, you'll learn how to navigate and customize the SAC Homepage, and you will understand how to access files and stories to truly begin your journey with SAP Analytics Cloud.
SAC Integrations and Connections
Identify the different types of data sources that can be connected to SAP Analytics Cloud. Differentiate between the different data connectivity types available. Share a connection with other users and teams. Create a connection to a data source. Schedule data import and export jobs. Identify best practices for troubleshooting data import errors.
System and Content Access
The third module covering security within SAP Analytics Cloud is focused on controlling what data users or teams can see and whether or not they can edit that data. This includes understanding Data Access Control and Data Locking, both of which are different methods to limit access to data. You will also learn about the Data Audit functionality, which allows an administrator to view data changes made by users.
Finally, you will get a chance to explore Usage Tracking Content, which allows administrators to view how people are using the SAC tenant.
Data Access and Administration Options
The final module continues covering security within SAP Analytics Cloud is focused on controlling what data users or teams can see and whether or not they can edit that data.
Tenant Strategy and Migrations
Most organizations that use SAP Analytics Cloud utilize more than one tenant. This module covers important items to consider when choosing how many tenants to use. It then dives into how to migrate content from one tenant to another. There are two ways within SAC to accomplish this: the Content Network and File System methods.
System Administration
Every administrator of SAP Analytics Cloud needs to understand how to monitor usage of the tool and how to change various settings. This module covers the different monitoring options available, as well as the SAP Performance Analysis tool included.
You will then be informed about the different administration settings, where to find them, and how to change them. Lastly, this module covers how to engage SAP Customer Support in the case that an issue needs to be raised.
