The Files toolbar offers a range of tools that enable you to manage your files and folders. These tools can be applied to multiple files or folders by selecting checkboxes based on your assigned role and permissions.
Create
Generate new files of selected data types such as stories, analytic applications, digital boardroom agendas and dashboards, models, and more, provided you have the necessary Create permission.
Folder Actions
New Folder: Create new folders to better organize your files. You can also create folders while saving, copying, or moving files.
Move To: Relocate files or folders to different locations. Full Control permission is required, and dependencies should be considered during movement.
Edit Details
Modify file or folder names, descriptions, and other details as applicable.
Share
Choose how to share a file with users or teams. Define access levels, custom access, or publish content to the Catalog for broader availability.
Copy To
Modify file or folder names, descriptions, and other details as applicable.
Delete
Choose how to share a file with users or teams. Define access levels, custom access, or publish content to the Catalog for broader availability.
Change Owner
Change the ownership of files or folders to another user. This feature enables you to transfer ownership while maintaining the content’s integrity and accessibility.
Note: Certain permissions are required to execute this action and ensure that the new owner has the necessary access rights to the content.
Draft Data
Select draft data content for new models or datasets.
Refresh
Update the file list view with the latest changes.
Upload Files
Add Microsoft Office, text, CSV, and PDF files from your computer to SAP Analytics Cloud.
Show Columns
Customize the display by showing or hiding columns in the file list view.
Filter
Refine the file list view to display specific types of files that you own or are shared with you.
